BARR is this guy Brendan Fowler and in some ways he might be the poet laureate of our scene or cultural moment or something. He kind of raps, kind of sings, kind of delclaims, and you can’t take your eyes off him. Seriously, people leave his shows with their eyes wide open, grinning, going, “What the fuck just happened in there?†Oh and his backing band plays like the Minutemen. (Note that we didn’t say sounds like, we said plays like.)
