Welcome to Kickstart, our emerging artist program that puts the future of bands in the hands of the fans. The first round just started, with six bands up against each other: Soft, Modrocket, Game Rebellion, Jah-Med, The Exeter Popes, and The Vandelles.

Now it’s time to meet the bands. This Thursday, January 3rd, at 6 pm EST, members from each band will be appearing at virtual Arlene's Grocery: to meet fans, shake hands and kiss babies in a final round of face-to-face campaigning.

Here is a little more guidance on how Kickstart works: You'll be able to vote for your favorite band Monday-Thursday of each week at a different venue in the vLES. This week, you'll have to come to virtual Arlene's Grocery if you want to put your two cents in the ballot box.

After tallying the results, two bands will be eliminated and the winners will be announced on Friday morning on the vLES.com Blog. Next week, we'll continue on to the next bracket at Virtual Annex. Remember, democracies only work when you speak up, so please get out there and vote.
