Everyone knows modern-day radio sucks, even satellite radio. So now that Lou Reed's joining the likes of Howard Stern, Lance Armstrong, Martha Quinn, and Bubba the fucking Lovesponge on Sirius does it mean the airwaves got a little bit cooler or grandpappy punk rock has finally lost any trace of what made anyone care about him in the first place? Well we won't find out till this Saturday when Reed's "New York Shuffle" premiers. According to the press release listeners can expect "the most eclectic mix of music found anywhere on Lou Reed’s New York Shuffle— running the gamut from jazz to vintage rock, and everything in-between." Not sure how many of you subscribe to this nonsense but if you do check it out and let us know how it goes.
