Tonight we’ve got a special world-colliding event with Matt & Kim at virtual Cake Shop. Bear with us for a second while we explain, ’cause it’s a bit confusing in a metaphysical, postmodern, “Where the fuck am I?†sense.
You see, a few weeks back we threw a vLES party at the real Cake Shop where M&K and the Virgins packed the venue to capacity. The audience was drenched with sweat, dancing like it was the end of the world, and so many genitals were pressed together there may have been a few accidental conceptions. The Virgins started the night off with the type of set only young, hungry bands can produce. And by the lecherous gazes of their fans, the odds of the boys’ sexual status being in line with their namesake are worse than Meg White having an orgasm on film. After the Virgins broke everyone’s cherry, M&K took the stage to a smattering of insane, half-naked fans who would have probably started a child-kidnapping cult if the duo asked it of them. Cut to about an hour and a dozen ass-shaking mini-opuses later, and everyone is exhausted, hanging on each other and buzzed on multiple substances. We’re sure many people carried their joy to the old sackaroo later on.
If you missed it, don’t think we’re dangling some unattainable carrot in front of your face—we videotaped the whole affair. This evening at the virtual Cake Shop we’ll be doing some Back to the Future shit by letting you relive the fruits of our labor (OK that’s a lie, it was all fun—no real work involved).
